Centerpoint School District Annual Title I Public Meeting
The Centerpoint School District invites parents and families to attend our Annual Title I Public Meeting on Monday, October 26, 2026 in the boardroom of the Administration building. The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about Title I, Part A, of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
Meeting times will be as follows:
Centerpoint Elementary School: 7:30-8:00 a.m; 12:00-12:30 a.m; 5:00-5:30 p.m
Centerpoint Middle/High School: 7:30-8:00 a.m; 11:00-11:30 a.m; 4:30-5:00 p.m
Title I, Part A, is a federal program that provides funding to local school districts to support efforts to improve academic achievement, particularly for students who need additional support in English Language Arts and Mathematics.
During the meeting, we will discuss the following topics:
● Participation in Title I, Part A
● An explanation of Title I, Part A requirements
● Parents’ and families’ rights and opportunities to be involved in their child’s education and learning
● Curriculum, assessments, and profi ciency-level expectations
● The 2026–2027 Parent-School Compact
