Due to current conditions of falling precipitation across the district and dropping temperatures that are forecasted around the freezing mark through the 9:00 hour, the Centerpoint School District will be closed on Monday, January 22nd. In determining our plan for school on Monday, January 22nd, we plan to evaluate the condition of secondary roads this afternoon and continue to monitor the weather into the evening of forecasted winter precipitation. Further notification will be released when a decision has been made based off these factors and consultation with our local law enforcement.

After careful consideration for much of today, the Centerpoint School District has decided to remain closed on Thursday, January 18th. Even with an increase in temperature today, we still have several miles of roads across the district that will be unsafe for our students and staff to travel after refreezing tonight. These messages will be sent through text, voice call, and the Centerpoint School District Facebook when a decision has been made by the district. Also, remember AMI days are no longer allowed for the district and any days missed will be made up on the inclement weather days as noted on the adopted district calendar.

6th-11th Grade School Pictures will be taken on Wednesday, September 6th. This will also be the make-up day for any Seniors still needing Cap and Gown pictures. Re-takes will be done in early October. That date will be set after Wednesday.
